Airtel customer service dropping badly

When business becomes difficult as has been the case with all Télécom providers in India, the providers that will win are those that focus to retain their customers and their customer service.

Airtel unfortunately has very slowly and steadily been deteriorating their customer service. This has been in all of its business.. Let it be mobile phones or for their landline and broadband connections.

I have been trying to get a landline connection transferred from Bangalore and have not gotten any response for over two months now. Even trying to get a new connection installed has been very slow.

While taking the order and taking the deposit works well (remember these companies are reporting customers added every month to the market) while installing it takes a hell of a lot of follow up.

These are tricks that companies use to increase revenue at the cost of their customers. Unethical standards.

Even escalating to nodal officers doesn't help.

If the Airtel officers do read this post.. Please dont let it die a death. You have the opportunity to be a truly great company and ensure we have Indian companies who are truly global.

Simple financial sense is customer service is key.
