The lokpal bill rolled out by the government of India is nothing short of a joke. "jokepal" is what a lot of people are calling it.
Only 0.5% of the government comes under the purview of the bill. The government I am sure is going to try and subvert the Anna camp like it did with baba ramdev. Kapil sibal is a great man, who uses the law to make his and his corrupt brethren more money.
It is surprising that with India in the grip of corruption with this government, the congress is trying to subvert a bill which will try and solve for it.
It makes us wonder to the reason for it. One thought comes to mind is the fact that if the correct bill comes to pass, their coffers will run dry.
I am supporting a much stronger lok pal bill. I am with Anna Harare.
