Movers and packers- what not to do

I have just moved from Bangalore to Delhi and have had a terrible experience with packers and movers. Over the last few weeks I have been wondering if I will even get my stuff back!
Thankfully, I got it today.. Am a little worse for wear. But hopefully I have learned my lesson. Let me share a few points for self as well as for my readers.

1. Ensure you go to a reputed packer. Now I know this is simplistic. I tried to do this- as an example - there are so many aggarwal packers, its not funny.. How do I know who is the real one.
It is not as if the smaller packers are not good, I thought they would have the fire to do the thing much better, but with arya packers it was not to be. The non professionalism came out clearly.
2. Check for papers right upfront. When my packers came, they had the papers of a completely different company.

3. Delivery of cars is always going to be a problem. It will get delayed- always . So dont blow a fuse.

4. There will be breakage.. And dont be fooled by whatever they say.

5. Ensure that you have good coverage by insurance.
