All around the world the India story I losing it's sheen . Recently Goldman Sachs reduced the growth projections for india from 7.2% to 6.6%.
This is a significant reduction especially since a lot of these are usually more optimistic.
The wrong policies of the government are making these investments which can potentially drive growth go away from india.
I am presently reading the book called "the tipping point". It talks about how trends are created by a random thin and how the tipping point can accelerate the trend into a geometric progression
The BRIC story was actually the tipping point for India's growth and the changes we have seen in the last decade.
I am hoping that the lack of performance of the congress government doesn't take india into the other direction . This is one tipping point that I am not looking forward to.
The increase in fuel prices is a good measure- though very much unliked ( and even more since my fuel tank is almost empty)
Understanding these tends are important.
