The above article from the et is inspiring , honest yet demotivating. To think that India being the largest it provider does not have any innovations to their credit is sad.
While reading this article I was reminded of a meeting with the genpact CEO , Mr Pramod Bhasin who had made a comment about being " fat and happy".
Sudden wealth in the Indian economy has made all of us fat and happy. To the extent that we believe thaf we are way ahead of the others.
This is why we have such huge job hopping beiing rampant in the young professionals..with no urge to work an a excel.
We need to.continue to.force ourselves to be relevant as a country and as a individual.. And that as Dr Murthy says in his speech is to continue to keep learning.
Simplefinancialsense is the name of the game
