I use an "any do" reminder on my phone. It helps me remember key actions like paying for my credit card bills, phone bills and also other critical points.
Likewise during this diwali festival... let's renew our reminders from a financial perspective and ensure that we dont keep snoozing the button as we go ahead..
1. Get your life insurance done. Remember, go for a term insurance and also for a term which is at the min till your retirement. This should be at least 5 times your yearly income
2. Set up your investment portfolio. Automate it. Dont keep money in the bank account unless really required... make your money work hard
3. Rationalize and review your asset allocation. Stick to the plan.. debt and equity are both important.
Make sure the reminder process works...
Financial planning is important and urgent... dont press the snooze button
