Major Paradigm shifts post corona for the IT and ITES industry

Its a defining moment for all of us... this corona pandemic. This has forced us into our homes cowering for protection, changed our basic human instincts of social togetherness.. changed the social fabric. This is changing us and it will have a huge impact on the way we operate going forward.

I will talk about a few points on how this changes our IT and ITES industry significantly. 

Almost everyone is working from home today.  Hiring is being done digitally and new joiner orientation is being done by joiners bringing theor own devices... and all online.  

Teams are doing projects with no human face  to face interactions.. brainstorming sessions , orals and contract negotiations. Amazing stuff that would all require travel ... to the office or to the client.

It is of course not easy.. it takes more time and more effort... but it is less impact to the environment. 

With these changes ... one can work from anywhere... and more and more work can happen outside of the region's. 

Offices are not required anymore

People can be more liquid...

Disruption is at hand

How this impacts us is how we can build skill sets in these areas... faster and execute them at scale.
