An idea for reducing fuel expenses

Tye chief minister of delhi Mrs Shoelace Dixit made a statement a month ago about people using just one bulb vs two if the price was too high .. but it was something that made so much of sense.

Now let's take the example of fuel .. now the energy requirements are going to go up - with increasing affluence and new technologies

If we can focus on using some smart solutions .. we can try and reduce the amount of cars on the roads..

This way our fuel consumption will come down and also positively affect our current account deficit.

Here are some thoughts
1. Restrict cars with odd and even Nos to be allowed to travel on specific days of the week ( manila does This very well)
2. Create the feeder system for public transportation .. critical if we want people to move onto shared commutes
3. Encourage the usage of non suv cars or better mileage vehicles
4. Get metro to work through the night also .. today it stops by 11pm

We will need to take steps .. and it is becoming urgent and critical
