Breaking the Old fixed Deposits- part 2

I just now went through an article from the economic times talking just about the last post i had on this ( not bad i say to myself- i seem to be ahead of the curve in thinking some of these things). Here's is my older post

Basically here's my two cents on this.

1. Negotiate the penalty on the breaking on the interest rates- get it reduced as much as possible
2. Some of the banks may not charge anything since you plan to deposit it back with them itself.


So go ahead- find out what makes sense for you.
