Helping out - making a difference

I recently had a discussion with a very senior person in my company whom I admire a lot. It was about multiple things - very relevant things.

What stuck in my mind was the one comment he made-- and it's been stuck in my sub conscious mind ever since - he supports 51 children - destitute children - for their education.

What makes this man tick - it's obviously not the money which motivates him- he uses almost all of that to help people. He stands for so much more in my eyes than he used .

Why is it so difficult for us to care for the poor in the country ? Even if everyone gave 500rs a month - it would make such an impact to the country !!

It's simple- it's there in our values - but why do we forget it ?

I do contribute to the SOS village- but I think I can and need to do more...
