Monsoons

Soon the mon- soon will come ( haha)... and the met department is saying that it is going to be normal. Hopefully this is going to be accurate else our economy is going to go through some tough times.

How?

1. Inflation is already at 14% and if monsoons are not on time - we definately are going to have higher inflation
2. Interest rates will trend upwards and that will hit economic growth

Our economy is dependant on rains for consumption since the majority of the population still resides in the rural areas and is dependant on farm outputs

Heres hoping for a strong monsoon.
