I saw an advt-- i think it was for one of the ULIPs--- where a child was saying that not only is his dad saving for him-- but for another child.
What a waste of emotional buildup.
What the company is trying to do is to build an emotional link with customers-- saying that they will sponsor a child when you open up a policy with them
How much? A paltry sum-- for every policy.
Now when an HLL says 1rs / packet-- it makes sense-- because that would come out to lakhs and crores of rs because their volumes are high... however for an insurance company to play the emotional card-- left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
thats one ulip that i would not buy :)
