Epfo starts work on UAN

The efpo organization has started work on implementation of its Unique Account Number plan for all of its members.

This is going to significantly reduce the red tape in this overall program. All employees of the country,  let them be private sector or the government sector will be impacted positively.

As people move from one organization to another,  it is a major headache to ensure that the money is transferred to the new epfo account number.

The involves filling up a form in the new organization and also getting them sent and following up to ensure that it is transferred .. remember we only used to get to know once a year!!

Epf is a large % of our savings and hence critical that we have these in the right place.. hence an extremely big impact on all of the working class.
