Low cost mobiles.. Is it worth it

So.. Multiple new mobile phones are now in the market less than rs 10,000 with some great specs. All recently launched and big and small names combined.

Recently the motorola moto E and moto G put the market on fire with their launches.

More recently the xiomi mi 3 has killed even the moto phones .. With sales for like two or three seconds.

I recently bought a moto E and am quite pleased with its performance though I do have to compromise a little .

Some compromises

1. Camera.. This one kills the entire phone if it is not decent. The moto E has a 5 MP camera but no flash and no auto focus. So the photos that come out is not great. Usually we use the camera quite a lot ( at least I do).. So having a decent one is critical.

2. The ram. In the new phones..a 1 GB ram is critical if you want to play any sort of games ... A 513 mob ram just doesn't make any sense. So go for one which has at least this available

3. The front camera. If you plan to use the video calling feature on Skype or tango.. This one is important. The new moto E just doesn't have it.

4. The os. My motorola mb 860 is on the gingerbread os... While it doesn't have any of the first three compromises , I find some of the new apps not being able to run on my phone. So get a phone with at least more than 4.0 android system if not the kit kat version

So, if you can live with some of the above compromises then go ahead for the sub ₹10 k phones.. Else spend a little more money
