INDIA turned 70 today . It is the largest democracy in the world with over 1.25 BN people in the country
It encompasses high aspiring young people with growing people coming into the retirement ages in a world that is becoming more and more volatile.
Today we see huge amount of disturbance across the globe let it be the rise of the unwanted violent gau rakshaks in India or the tenterhook north Korea readying for a nuclear war.
Things are changing bringing with it despair and some times frustration. There is fear in the society that some people are happy to foster for their own gains.
In these times what I always remember is the beautiful coke ad of ummedo walk dhoop.
It is with this song in the heart I look towards a growing India, with growth in peace, growth in togetherness, growth in indianness
