Bonus is just that a " bonus"

If you are working in an MNC it is most likely that you are getting your bonus in Dec or January.

Bonus are variable amounts which are paid to you depending on your performance and also company performance. These are truly variable in nature and should be treated as such in your financial planning .

There can be many times that even though ones performance is good , the company performance may be bad and hence bonus will not be given out to the same amount that you were expecting .

Usually companies and recruiters try and show the bigger picture about full cost to company but in reality they are usually not met.

When we do our financial planning we need to try and plan with what we get.. the fixed pay.... And factor in any bonus as an additional benefits .

Always remember.. the bonus is not fixed it will be different every year and can be up or down .
