It's very disheartening to have a mutual fund in your investment portfolio which although it was part of the 2017 best mf list is no longer in the list for 2018.
What does this mean for us as investors? Do we need to now quickly change all of our investment plans and move all of our existing investments into these....
Imagine the planning that went into making up your portfolio in 2017.. and now it seems that these no longer will work in the new year.
My personal opinion is that we should not be making changes to our portfolio so often.. we need to trust the mutual fund managers at least for a couple of years. One cannot be on the top list for one year and fall to the bottom next year. So if your fund is not on the top list of funds for next year.. it must be on the second rung and may be again in the first rung in 2019.
I suggest we continue unless we are going ahead for a new goal for which another type of mf portfolio is required .
It's not so simple
